Biography

Kari Treu joined UHS in 2022 as a trainee in the postgraduate fellowship program and became a UHS Mental Health Provider in 2024. Kari focuses on eating and body image concerns, as well as supporting LGBTQ+ populations. Her additional clinical interests include chronic pain/illness and sexual health/wellbeing. Kari is skilled in facilitating mindfulness, meditation, and creative art processing,

Kari bases her practice in a foundation of feminist and person-centered theories, in addition to utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Outside of UHS, Kari enjoys reading, playing video games, watching movies, crafting, and spending time with her cats.
