Biography

She has prior experiences working in medical settings with individuals who have experienced intimate partner and sexual violence, co-advising Promoting Awareness Victim Empowerment (PAVE-UW) and co-facilitating a class at her alumni Washington University in St. Louis to undergraduate students around topics of sex, sexuality, and gender. Lewis is committed to disrupting systems in order to erode oppressive structures and providing a supportive and engaging environment for all, but especially for people who are Black, POC, Queer, and others with marginalized and silenced identities.
