Biography

Jamie Temple joined UHS in 2014 and has created and served in two inaugural positions. In her role as Assistant Director for Trauma-Informed Culture and Organizational Wellbeing, Temple helps campus and community partners integrate trauma-sensitive approaches with strategic change to promote employee engagement and belonging, build relationships, and create psychological safety.

As a former therapist and advocate, Jamie possesses a robust toolkit to address complex interpersonal and team dynamics, all while building meaningful connections. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University, a certification in Grief and Loss from the Grief Recovery Institute and a certification in Advance Change from Kotter International.

Outside of her work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, catching up on the latest Bravo show, and working through the “never-ending stack of books” on her nightstand.
