Biography

Alison Thumel joined the UHS Marketing & Health Communications team in 2023.

After beginning her career in communication and change management consulting, she taught undergraduate students at UW–Madison and Stanford University during her graduate and postgraduate education. Working at UHS allows her to merge her experiences as a communicator and educator to support student wellbeing.

Outside of her work in health communications, Alison reads, writes, and teaches poetry.
