Nakita Xiong joined UHS as a Counseling Services Trainee in 2024.

Nakita is passionate about supporting students’ mental health. As a counselor-in-training, she aims to help students learn more about themselves and assist in self-exploration. Nakita utilizes a narrative approach to support individuals in reframing their personal stories, identifying their strengths, and creating new, empowering narratives that foster growth, resilience, and self-compassion.

Outside of her role at UHS, Nakita enjoys reading, crocheting, and binge-watching TV shows.
