Taylor Roys

Taylor Roys joined UHS Mental Health Services as a Practicum Trainee in 2024.

Taylor notes, “College is such a unique period in life where there is so much novelty, whether it’s living away from home, new social experiences, or thinking about career paths for the first time. Although this can be a hopeful time filled with excitement, it can also feel overwhelming in a way that affects our mental health. I have always been interested in understanding how people’s life experiences inform who they are and how they experience new environments, so it is a privilege to support students as they seek to understand themselves deeper while they navigate a new period of their lives.”

Taylor identifies as a queer woman and seeks to provide supportive care that is inclusive to all expressions of queer identity.

Outside of her work at UHS, Taylor practices yoga, and cuddles with her two orange tabby cats. She also enjoys bouldering, reading, political organizing, and spending time outdoors.
