Amy Parins

Amy Parins joined the University Health Services Primary Care team as a Physician Assistant in 2024.

Amy brings 15 years of experience in internal medicine and behavioral health, with a diverse background across various healthcare settings. Working in college health allows her to combine her passion of taking care of the whole person with a focus on preventive medicine, mental health, and acute/chronic disease management. A UW–Madison alum, Amy works to care for Badgers and support their health and wellbeing during a pivotal time in their lives.

In her work and her personal life, Amy thrives on authentic connection and balance and is committed to helping others with their health and wellbeing. Outside her work at UHS, she enjoys spending quality time with her three kids, husband, and energetic yellow lab, Leo. She finds a balance of creativity, adventure, and relaxation through her many hobbies, which include traveling, reading, trail running, skiing, yoga, painting, knitting, and art.
