Sarah Kohlstedt

Sarah Kohlstedt joined MHS as a pre-doctoral intern in 2010-2011 and completed her post-doctoral residency at MHS in 2011-2012. She was hired as a staff psychologist in 2013.

“I work with students in a variety of spaces and in the context of different roles. Being in the university environment is a great privilege because we have multiple avenues for pursuing professional development, growth, and learning.  There are also platforms for getting involved in social and environmental causes which are important to me.

Kohlstedt serves in three capacities at UHS:

• Embedded provider with Badger Athletics providing individual therapy, team consultation, coach education, and outreach.
• Wellness provider offering ongoing support, education, consultation, and mind-body counseling to students.
• Licensed supervisor for pre-doctoral interns and practicum students within our training program.

“I enjoy working with students from diverse backgrounds, upbringings, and identities. My approach is to work collaboratively with students to create a process and experience that is helpful to them.”
