Mairin Hesselbein

Mairin Hesselbein joined UHS in 2023 and serves as the Prevention Admin Specialist.

“I am passionate about helping people, both personally and professionally. We spend a lot of time at work, and I find it greatly fulfilling knowing my job is benefitting others.”

She is originally from Madison and has lived and worked abroad in Australia, China, and England.

“I understand what it is like to feel different and to immerse myself in other cultures. I enjoy meeting new people and interacting with people on campus from all around the world,” she says.

Outside of UHS, she enjoys being outdoors and activities including hiking, paddle boarding, travelling, dancing, live music, yoga, and cooking.
