Call for Help

24/7 Crisis Support

If your situation is immediately life threatening, call 911
or get safely to the nearest hospital emergency department.

We care about you, and want to connect you to the support you need.

If you are thinking about suicide or experiencing an urgent mental health concern or crisis, the UHS crisis line is available 24/7 at 608-265-5600 (option 9).  Trained mental health professionals will address a student’s immediate concerns, assess for safety, and collaboratively create a plan for support, including options for follow-up services.

The crisis line is also available for family members, partners, friends, roommates, faculty, housing staff, and other campus community members who are concerned about the wellbeing of a student.
