Connect & Reflect

During Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) this April, join UHS Survivor Services and Violence Prevention for “Connect & Reflect,” a series of events and spaces for survivors of sexual violence and allies to reclaim campus, find community with other survivors and allies, and reduce the stigma around survivorship.

Connect & Reflect invites the campus community to recognize SAAM in two different ways:

  • Connect: A series of “connection” events will be hosted at the end of April to promote healing and solidarity with survivors. Events are open to any student who identifies as a survivor, ally, or is otherwise impacted by sexual assault/harassment/or dating violence.
  • Reflect: Throughout the month of April, UHS will host a pop-up gallery featuring student survivor art and a historical review of significant events in campus sexual assault activism over the last 50 years.
