Group Counseling

Connect. Support. Grow.

Join hundreds of UW-Madison students who participate in group counseling at UHS every semester. Experience the opportunity to connect with others in a safe, confidential and supportive space.

You can share your experiences with others who understand and relate; learn new perspectives; and experiment with new ideas, behaviors, and ways of being or interacting.

Join a group

If you are interested in joining a group, and do not wish to consider any other services, contact the Mental Health Services at 608-265-5600 (option 2).

Tell our staff about the group you are interested in, including the day and time, and that you would like to be scheduled for a pre-group orientation.

If you are interested in joining a group in addition to other services, log in to your MyUHS account to schedule an Access Appointment or call Mental Health Services at 608-265-5600 (option 2). During your Access Appointment, let the counselor know that you’re interested in joining a group.
