Vaccinations only
Make an appointment if you are familiar with international travel and will be traveling to developed countries with minimal risk for traveler’s diarrhea, malaria, or other mosquito-transmitted infection. This includes Canada, Western Europe, United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Occasionally there are national shortages on certain vaccines. Call UHS to verify availability prior to scheduling an appointment to receive an immunization.
Travel consultation and vaccinations
This appointment is recommended if you need country-specific recommendations, vaccinations, and prescription medications.
Consultation, physical exam, forms & vaccination
This appointment includes completion of forms and/or a physical examination required for some international university programs or Visa applications, as well as country-specific recommendations, vaccinations, and prescription medications for travel. There is an additional cost associated with this appointment.

The following vaccinations are available from UHS for an extra fee with the exception of influenza:

- Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
- Influenza (Flu)
- Japanese Encephalitis
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella
- Meningococcal Vaccine
- Pneumococcal Vaccine
- Polio
- Rabies, pre-exposure
- Tetanus/Diptheria/Pertussis
- Typhoid
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Yellow Fever
Post-travel appointments
Post-travel appointments are recommended for students with the following concerns:
- Illness or fever within three months after returning
- Possible exposure to a potentially serious infectious disease while traveling
- More than three months spent living or travelling in a developing country
