A Note About Contacting UHS via Email
Statement Regarding Use of Electronic Mail
Student clients of UHS need to be aware that email cannot be considered a confidential mode of communication.
- To help ensure privacy, students are cautioned against sending sensitive, detailed personal information to UHS via email.
- UHS providers communicate with students through MyUHS.
- Email should not be used to convey information of an urgent nature to UHS. UHS cannot guarantee prompt responses to email messages sent by students (or others). Students should be aware that Clinical Services can be contacted during regular office hours by calling 265-5600 and that there are limited on-call hours on evenings (until 9 pm) and weekends (noon to 9 pm) for urgent medical advice by phone. Mental health crisis services are available by telephone 24 hours a day by calling 608-265-5600.
